Security Sales Consultant

Job Title: Security Consultant (Estimator - Technical Sales)

Salary: Basic £35K with commission. Potential earnings up to £50K per year.

Locations: Stevenage

Sales Target: £400,000 per annum.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Security Consultant with a strong background in technical sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing tenders and quotations by designing or interpreting specifications. This role involves working with a range of security systems including Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive tenders and quotations.
• Design and interpret specifications for security systems.
• Be knowledgeable in a range of equipment including Eaton Range, Pyronix, Honeywell - Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision IP/TVI, Pelco, ACT, Paxton, BPT, Fermax, Videx, and more.
• Handle enquiries and generate new business to achieve sales targets.
• Deliver presentations to customers both on-site and at company premises.
• Maintain awareness of NSI Standards and relevant security technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven sales record in security systems.
• Technical knowledge for quoting system takeovers and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of contract law.
• Proficiency in IT skills, specifically WORD and EXCEL.
• Familiarity with security standards.
