Job Description:
We are seeking a confident and experienced Self Storage Manager to oversee daily operations.
The right candidate must be friendly, helpful, and understanding, with an ability to put people at ease and provide evidence of both strong life skills and a level of maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the storage facility.
• Ensure units are clean, secure, and ready for new customers.
• Handle customer inquiries by telephone, email & in person in a timely and professional manner.
• Process rental agreements, payments, and oversee move-ins/move-outs.
• Perform light maintenance & conduct regular facility inspections to maintain security and cleanliness standards.
• Follow up all enquiries & report back to Company director.
• Liaise with accounts department regarding outstanding arrears & contact customers both by telephone, email & in person to resolve any issues.
• Achieve sales targets & promote the business.
• Maintain an accurate and organised record of all transactions & customer details.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in self-storage, retail, or property management is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient with computer software.
• A self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Must have full driving licence & own transport.
• Be well-presented and courteous.
• Must be flexible to work extra hours (including Saturday) if required
We offer.
£12,480- £14,100 OTE
28 Days Paid holiday (taking bank holidays into account)
16 Hours per week Mon – Friday- 12pm – 3pm
