Aspire People are pleased to be working with a specialist school in Stretford, Trafford, Greater Manchester who are looking to recruit a SEMH Teacher.
The role is teaching a class of 7 pupils aged 9 -11 years old with complex SEMH needs. The role will include implement activities to support each child's own learning pathway as well as working with their EHCPs. The role is Monday - Friday, 8:30am-15:30pm with occasional twilight training sessions or staff meetings.
The role is term time only and will be a temporary to start. Daily pay rates are between 130 - 200 a day depending on experience and qualifications. The school, based in Stretford, is a dedicated SEMH setting which provides an inclusive education environment for children aged 7-11. The staff team work to provide positive and engaging learning opportunities for all whilst promoting the core skills of reading, writing, communication, numeracy and personal and social development.
To apply for the role you must be UK qualified with QTS. Experience teaching SEMH children is essential, whilst experience working in a special school is highly desirable. You must also have a child and adult DBS registered on the update service along with references to cover a minimum of the last 2 years. Please note, all qualifications must be evidenced.
