Semi Senior Accountant

Semi Senior Accountant position within an experienced, yet forward thinking accountancy practice based in Stratford upon Avon.

They are recruiting for an ambitious accountant to join their growing team, in a Semi Senior role to aid their accounts team, and to grow in the firm

Bookkeeping and Accounts Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.

VAT and Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Support the tax team in researching and resolving tax-related queries and issues.

Client Interaction:

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address their queries.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Assist in client onboarding processes and ensure a smooth transition for new clients.

• AAT Level 3 or 4 qualified is preferred, and above
• Minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experience
• Able to commute to Stratford upon Avon
• No requirement for sponsorship

• Salary ranging from £25-30k
