Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement individualized education plans and ensure the effective inclusion of students with SEN.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the academic and social progress of students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and nurturing educational atmosphere.
- Monitor and record student progress, reporting findings to the relevant professionals and adapting support strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs in an educational setting.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
