SEN Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
2. Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting materials to meet the needs of students.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
4. Support students in developing social skills and independence.
5. Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of support.
6. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
2. Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
