We are currently on the hunt for a dedicated and understanding SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School situated in Kilburn, North West London. The role would be working in a Year 1 Class.

Responsibilities:
As an integral part of the team in your SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will play a pivotal part in providing invaluable support. Your key responsibilities will consist of:
- Nurturing student's social and communication skills, fostering an inclusive and harmonious school community.
- Working alongside the teaching team to establish and maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to support students with SEN.
- Facilitating student's access to the curriculum, adapting / differentiating materials as necessary.
- Establishing strong partnerships with parents and other colleagues to ensure a co-ordinated approach to support.
- Monitoring and tracking student's progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in any capacity is beneficial, experience working with students with SEN is highly advantageous.
- A genuine passion for the field of education and supporting students with special educational needs.
- The ability to work collaboratively as a SEN Teaching Assistant within a supportive team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of students.
- Demonstrating patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach.
