Job Title: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant Needed ASAP

Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistants. The ideal candidates will be available to start as soon as possible, possess previous experience within a school setting, and have a strong background in working with children or young adults with autism.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, including those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities across primary, secondary, and college levels.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with students with SEN.
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and experience implementing strategies to support individuals with autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and developmental needs of children and young adults with SEN.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different age groups and educational settings.
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field would be advantageous.
