Skylarks Charity is looking for a SEND Progression Programme Manager to lead its Employment and Skills Programmes (Spread Young Wings). This role focuses on improving the career development and employment prospects of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role is critical to building and leading our employability offer for young people ages 12-25.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside the wider team, you will lead the development of the programmes for the charity. The Spread Your Wings Programmes provide a range of careers, life and work skills training delivered in schools, in person and online, across Richmond and South West London, and the UK.
This role is remotely based, but applicants are expected to have the flexibility to regularly travel to Richmond and the surrounding areas to carry out the role.

You will be required to:
- Manage and continue to build the Spread Your Wings Employment and Skills Programmes offer.
- Deliver workshops across the programmes in-schools or online.
- Deliver the Spread Your Wings Career Coaching Parent Programme to support parents in identifying and overcoming barriers for their children;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and local authorities to engage within the programmes.
- Contribute to Skylarks’ Operations team and relevant internal meetings
- Manage the team of external trainers who deliver the Spread Your Wings programmes
- Manage and build supplier relationships, developing and maintaining the offer for young people.
- Manage recruitment, admissions and enrolment of all young people on the programmes.
- Manage programme bookings, registers, attendance and retention ensuring accurate data is maintained and can be used for measuring quality.
- Develop employer engagement to support the offer by working with the Corporate Partnerships team.
- Work with the Marketing Team to market and promote the Spread Your Wings programmes.
- Lead on the review and evaluation of the programme offer, as part of a quality cycle - listening to the needs of users and the employment sector.
