Responsibilities
These will be your day to day responsibilities.
- Being responsible for leading work stream(s) through all stages of the client relationship to drive seamless workflow.
- Keeping in daily contact with clients keeping them abreast of all activity across the account.
- Looking for opportunities to strengthen client relationships and grow client accounts
- Ensuring what’s being created reinforces the strategy required to solve our client’s business challenges.
- Demonstrating strong ownership of the brand and keeping the focus on the brand’s success and retention.
- Challenging strategies, creative and client direction that does not support solving our client’s business challenges.
- Working closely with our strategy, creative, design, digital and production teams.
- Championing creative work our output
- Provide clear direction and establishes expectations of internal and external stakeholders..
- Manages client demand versus budget.
- Delegates tasks appropriately, delivering clear briefs to internal creative teams
- Identifies and pursues new revenue opportunities within client relationships
- Empowering your team members to succeed, identifying areas for growth and taking an active role in coaching and mentorship without micromanaging.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- 4+ years of relevant agency experience (design / creative / digital / 360 agency experience all welcome)
- A passion for business, marketing and all things media
- An understanding of challenger and scaleup brand mentalities.
- Operates with a high degree of independence, but knows when to rely on own judgment and when to seek advice from the Account Director and other team members.
- Applies sound judgment in anticipating and taking action to avoid many workplace and client issues and problems.
- Superior written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- The ability to manage and inspire a team to make sound judgments.
- The ability to ensure a good level of creative output across the team.
- Strong personal relations skills and ability to ‘sell a story’ and communicate effectively
- Client liaison and interface skills e.g. leading client meetings, managing day to day contact.
- Ability to present ideas confidently and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Calm under pressure but always wanting to present the best in class work.
- A logical thinker who is always solutions oriented.
- You’re able to accurately resource and forecast to ensure there is sufficient staff time allocated to your accounts
- Contribute to longer-term financial planning as needed. Work with resourcing lead to address any short-term resourcing challenges.

Benefits
Role: Senior Account Manager
Start: April 2024
Hours: 9 - 6pm (but actually)
Location: London Hybrid - Shoreditch or the Strand, we do three days in office, two days WFH.
Training: Individual training budgets for all members of the team
Holidays: 20 days - not including public holidays, your birthday or our 2 week break over New Years.
Work from anywhere: up to 20 days each year
Other perks: Office baby x 1 (will grow older though), Coffee machine x 2, Office Dogs x 3 (though not all at once), annual retreats, and you can bring your dog to work (obviously) 🐶.
