Senior Account Handler | Salary: Up to £38,000 + Benefits | Southend on Sea (In office Monday-Friday)

Senior Account Handler role:

Based in our Westcliffe-on-sea office and reporting into our director, this Senior Account Handler role will take responsibility of managing all current and established clients as well as supporting in bring on new business. This key role will act in partnership with the director to ensure all key relationships – both client and personnel – are managed smoothly and efficiently.

Other essential job functions include but are not limited to:

• Act as 2nd in command in the absence of the director and be able to support customers with all and any queries or questions.
• Develop , encourage and maintain relationships with Insurers to ensure our customers receive the best service possible
• Keep up to date with recent publications and market changes in order to advise clients accordingly
• Understanding and being aware of market developments in your business areas and bring them to the forefront when appropriate.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of B2B relationship management especially within the insurance industry and in particular extensive knowledge of commercial lines. As you will have significant interaction with longstanding clients, the ability to communicate effectively will be key to your success, along with the ability to be self-motivated, flexible in the way you work and the ability to multitask.
