My client is a London based PR & Comms agency
Job Description
- Act as the day-to-day contact for clients, and the driving force behind the team's delivery of work
- Develop strong relationships with clients and be trusted to give sound advice across various area, including briefing and preparing senior clients ahead of media interviews.
- Draft and oversee messaging and the creation of content for a variety of uses, including briefing documents, statements, press releases, media pitches, presentations, social media content and news summaries.
- Make recommendations to clients on the best communications strategies
- Support junior colleagues in the execution of activities for clients and deputise for senior colleagues where necessary
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate or strategic communications in an agency environment
- Ability to juggle multiple clients and workstreams and to delegate and prioritise workload as necessary to meet deadlines
- Experience of drafting content for a variety of uses, delivering multistakeholder activities, and creating and executing a wide range of communications strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the media landscape and confident in media handling, with experience both responding to and proactively identifying opportunities to help clients
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and a solid understanding of the key social, media and research platforms.
