Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the Financial Accounting, Planning, Analysis, and Controlling functions within the Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely reporting while adhering to relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating, preparing, analysing, and reporting Monthly Financial/Accounts accurately and promptly.
• Analysing, reconciling, and reporting Financial Accounting data to the Group using a consolidated results platform.
• Ensuring the accurate operation and enhancement of internal controls across all processes.
• Calculating and posting key journals to maintain accurate financial records.
• Completing and monitoring all Balance Sheet accounts consistently.
• Maintaining the company's trial balance to ensure accuracy in postings.
• Providing high-level financial support and analysis to aid business decisions.
• Coordinating and reporting Financial Accountants for Assigned Business Areas.
• Ensuring all accounts are prepared in accordance with accounting standards.
• Delivering and analysing Business Plans.
• Completing and monitoring key internal controls.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Academic Qualifications: Honor’s Degree or Equivalent.
• Professional Qualification: Fully or part-qualified Accountant (ACMA/ACCA/CIMA/ACA, etc.), or actively studying towards qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Self-confidence and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build business relationships within a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in SAP, particularly in FI/CO modules.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
