Reed accountancy have recently partnered up again with a longstanding client who is looking to add to their Finance function on a 12-month FTC basis.
The right candidate will posses all the key skills and attributes listed below and will have hands on experience with audit and internal control requirements and will be working closely with the Head of Corporate Finance, the Group Financial Controller and other key management stakeholders.
The role will require experience with preparation of P&L, balance sheet and phased financial reports.
The Role
- Reviewing and analysing quarterly phased financial reviews to be presented at director level
- Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Dealing with high volume of journal preparation including review of journals preparation of direct reports to ensure accuracy
- Preparation of quarterly reporting packs for Group and Management reporting teams
- Leading in statutory annual audits working with the external auditing team for planning and organising purposes as well as to prepare trial balance and review of financial statements
- Supervision of the financial accountant within the business as well as provide mentorship
- Participate and lead on improvement projects across the business
The Person
- Must have a working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with statutory reporting requirements
- Experience ideally working in a large private company
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Ability to take initiative and working independently or part of a team
This role is on a FTC basis for 12 months and ideally will be looking for candidates with a short availability however will look at people with notice periods.
