Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside one of the most exciting and fast paced Music Industry based Accountancy Practices in the UK in the search for their next Senior Accountant.

The client has benefited from fantastic growth since inception 30 years ago, derived both organically and as a result of strong strategic acquisitions. As such, the business is now one of the top 50 firms in the UK, with 20 partners and over 120 employees throughout the team. Since inception, the business has expanded covering a range of different sectors, working alongside individuals, listed companies and international entities on a daily basis.

The Role:
The Senior Accountant will be working in a team of 5 others, including a director and manager, alongside two more junior semi Senior Accountants and an intern. Overseeing the accounts of some of the leading names in the music and creative space, this role will require the successful candidate to deliver their service to the highest possible standard and quality. For driven and ambitious candidates, our client can as a result offer a fantastic opportunity for internal growth and development.
The Duties:
The main duties will include:
- Assisting with the delivery of monthly deadlines to include liaising with clients and the team to finalise monthly management accounts
- Assisting the manager in the team with training other team members
- Preparation of year end accounts
- Liaising with client or client representatives
- VAT returns.
- Year end accounts / UK tax returns.
- Assisting with information required for non-UK tax returns and filings.
What we need to see (essential):
- ACCA / ACA qualified OR finalist
- Strong communications skills
- Strong work ethic with driven, ambitus mindset
What we need to see (beneficial):
- Line management experience
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + benefits package
Location: Central London
