As a seasoned Practice Accountant, we guess you're already familiar with the tasks at hand, but here's a concise overview:
You will play a pivotal role in the practice, overseeing client accounts, managing financial processes, and providing strategic guidance to our team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading client engagements and maintaining strong client relationships
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other key documents
- Conducting financial analysis and providing actionable insights to clients
- A willingness to mentor and guide junior staff members to foster their professional growth
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices
What we'd love to see from you:
- Ideally working towards ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualification, although consideration will be given to those with equivalent experience in accountancy
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Xero, Quickbooks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
