Senior Accountant

A fantastic, well-known, and highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants based in Brighton is looking for an Accounts Senior to join their team! The firm acts for a very wide-ranging client base with turnovers from £50-£100m across a mix of industry sectors. The firm is undergoing positive growth and expansion and presents an ideal environment for the right professional to progress technically, with increasing responsibility, progression, and development on offer.

You will join as an Accounts Senior and be seeking a career opportunity with genuine scope to progress and develop your career providing varied accounts services to a wide-ranging client base, based on their Worthing offices.

• Providing a premium support accounts service
  
• Pro-actively assisting in the maintenance of current client relationships
  
• Conducting accounts work, including preparing accounts, business tax returns, self-assessments and VAT returns.
  
• Providing weekly, clear, and prompt communication to Managers in relation to timescales and deliverability of assignments.
  
• Working as part of a small team

• Interested in working with our new media entrepreneurs
  
• ACCA, ACA full or part qualified, or have at least 2 years experience working in a relevant accounts’ role
  
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience preparing financial accounts, ideally within an Accountancy Practice
  
• A knowledge of various software packages
  
• Ambitious, curious and passionate about what you do and have strong communication and teamwork skills
  
• Organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated
  

£38,000 - £43,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
