Senior Administrative Officer
Location: Londonderry
£11.39 per hour
37 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Place-Shaping duties, focusing on processing house and land sales.
- Investigate and evaluate applications/submissions from various divisions and organizations.
- Prepare conveyancing drafts and manage leasehold and freehold purchases.
- Generate title reports and provide observations based on standard and search entries.
- Monitor and review files, ensuring adherence to timelines and maintaining updated paperwork.
- Contribute to the preparation of statistical information and management reports.
- Prepare written reports for senior management on Land & Regeneration Service functions.
- Maintain and enhance complex Land & Regeneration Service databases and IT systems using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including applicants, statutory bodies, housing associations, and voluntary sector groups.
General:
- Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Foster enduring and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to and enforce all NIHE frameworks, policies, and procedures, including legal obligations related to equality, health and safety, information governance, and procurement.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned, within the scope of the role's responsibilities and grade, to meet organizational needs.
Person Specification:
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential: BTEC Higher or equivalent qualification, plus one year of relevant general administrative experience.
OR
Essential: BTEC National or equivalent qualification, plus two years of relevant general administrative experience.
