Elevation Recruitment Group Business Support are currently supporting a leading Manufacturing business based in Rotherham, looking to recruit a Senior Administrator. This is an excellent and very varied opportunity to really get involved in business operations.
We are currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Administrator with a background in manufacturing. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, managing key administrative functions, and ensuring seamless communication between various departments.
Key responsibilities of a Senior Administrator:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day administrative operations
- Implement administrative policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
- Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Serve as a liaison between senior management and departmental teams
- Booking travel and accommodation for board executives
- Assist in booking meetings, minuting meetings and writing follow up actions
- Weekly and monthly reporting, gathering and analysing data - ability to use Pivots/VLOOKUPS
- Manage and process orders ensuring a seamless process
- Administrative support to multiple departments and executives
- Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage administrative budgets
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures where possible
Key Skills for a Senior Administrator:
- Proven experience in a senior administrative role, within the manufacturing or engineering industry
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology
