Role Summary
Sitting within EQ Group's UK Shareholder Services Operations (UKSS) division, the Banking Services team provides EQ Group with operational management of banking relationships, payment and banking platforms and channels, including the governance and maintenance of bank accounts. The Banking Services team own the relationship with the banks that EQ works with and is central in providing banking services support to our internal EQ operational teams.
Day to day, a Banking Administrator / Senior Administrator is responsible for completing their assigned processes and services, ensuring that their work meets Service Level Agreements (SLA) and appropriate Quality targets. Depending on experience and capability, the role may also act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead specific processes, services, or projects.
Ideally, the successful applicant should have proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures through related training and work experience, though full on-the-job training will be provided. To assist in your development, it is expected that you will be pro-active with self-learning of concepts, systems, and techniques to develop advanced and specialised knowledge; you will also be supported directly with your own development, expectations, and welfare by your Team Leader.
Our roles are primarily office based; however, a certain amount of flexibility is provided (at management discretion) should someone need to work from home occasionally. Our office is based in Worthing and the successful applicant will be expected to work from this location.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
Understand your tasks on a detailed technical level (training will be provided).
Provide progress updates and MI to relevant parties.
Active participation in workflow, governance and improvement meetings.
Awareness of and adherence to relevant regulatory and compliance matters, e.g. GDPR.
Support for internal and external audits.
Take on board and give constructive feedback.
