Looking to make active changes and add value in an evolving and dynamic environment? We are looking for a highly motivated, diligent and proactive Senior Analyst to join the Brand-Finance Operations Team to help us continually improve the way we operate.

We work with all parts of the organization to improve the way we define and consume the data to interpret the business performance. We also work with multiple teams across EG to streamline processes, whilst maintaining the delicate balance between the customer experience and our financial balances.

You will partner with finance, analytics, product and technology teams to design new ways of working and will support Expedia Groups journey towards being a customer focused organization.

What you'll do:

• Being the point of contact/representative for brands finance in the tech community - work with Product and Tech teams to evolve the data-ecosystem in line with Finance vision
• Partner with Finance teams to collate and prioritize data needs in terms of new metrics and improved tools/systems for data consumption
• Create and transform processes across the organization, seeking out opportunities to standardize and simplify the way teams operate
• Partner with product and technology to bring new ideas and functionality to life, driving automation and dynamic controls
• Work within teams on ad-hoc finance projects, as and when required, ensuring thorough implementation

Who you are :

• Solid understanding of math and statistics concepts.
• Ability or willingness to learn and utilize Financial Systems (Hyperion, SQL, etc.).
• University degree, 2:1 or higher
• 3+ years’ experience in a finance or analytics role (experience partnering with product and technology is a plus)
• Experience in a technology or e-commerce environment a plus
• Proactive nature - works with autonomy and seek out problems to solve to continually challenge and improve our business
• Ability to establish effective relationships with teams across various functions and time zones with a high standard of communication and influence (both written and verbal)
• Attitude for thinking big and small - ability to see the bigger picture and connect to the broader business, alongside keen attention to detail for assessing operational risks and controls
• Excellent organizational skills to deliver on multiple projects at one time

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500 to $115,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
