Hilton Supply Management (HSM) uses their expertise to forecast and proactively manage our property’s supply chains, so hotel employees can focus on what’s important – the guest experience. With more than 6,000 hotels in our program (including over 1,500 non-Hilton-branded hotels), HSM drives massive economies of scale and negotiates competitive contracts with industry-leading suppliers – ensuring direct savings on the products their hotel partners use most.


What will I be doing?

The role of Senior Analyst, Procurement Applications - EMEA is to help with the deployment and provision of support for BirchStreet at all properties in EMEA. In addition, the role will focus on supplier data management, supplier catalogues, item and product master list management and will interact with internal stakeholders to facilitate reporting and maintain adherence to purchasing standards. The role also includes all procurement system support for properties and any external stakeholders.


More specifically, you will:

•    Support and actively engage in the data collection and - verification of the BirchStreet roll-out for all EMEA properties, including contracted third-party properties (GPOs)
•    Supervise project team members during the data collection by identifying requirements, validating, and confirming data files and beginning balances
•    Develop scripts for the UAT environment and actively engage in the testing of new features and bug fixes
•    Assist with building and designing supporting documentations, such as user manuals, quick guides, and training videos
•    Ensure all BirchStreet tickets from the HSM Procurement teams, the Customer Engagement teams, properties, and suppliers in EMEA are corrected and assigned to BSS and/or resolved in a timely manner
•    Conduct regular meetings with all stakeholders to obtain status updates for projects, tickets and system related errors and bugs
•    Host regular Procurement Applications training sessions for the eProcurement module
•    Follow up and resolve system generated errors with internal and external stakeholders
•    Assist with any report related requests and queries in BirchStreet

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

•    BA / BSc / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu thereof 
•    Business fluency in English
•    Proven procurement or supply management experience
•    Proven functional experience with ERP and B2B systems
•    Strong MS Suite experience 
•    Functional knowledge of purchasing systems (eg. BirchStreet, FutureLog, Materials Control, Check SCM etc...)
•    Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

•    Functional knowledge of various global back office financial systems (PeopleSoft, SUN Financials, Microsoft Dynamics Navision)
•    Business fluency in one or more European, Middle Eastern or African languages
