The Client:

Our client is a well-established construction consultancy, offering design and management services across the Built Environment.

The Role:

As a Senior Associate / Architect, you will lead design teams and develop project briefs in collaboration with key stakeholders, guiding projects through all RIBA Stages.

Please do not apply if you do not have at least 4 years of experience working in the UK.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with Architects, Technologists, Technicians, Architectural Assistants, Interior Designers, Town Planners, and Urban Designers.
-Engage in local Business Development to foster client relationships.
-Coordinate with internal and external consultants for specialist design information.
-Liaise with planning and building control authorities.
-Contribute to pre-construction information.
-Regularly review and update design risk assessments.
-Perform effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines.
-Take initiative to solve technical issues.
-Support the adoption and alignment with ISO 19650 standards.

Requirements:

-Previously worked as an Associate, Architect or in a similar role.
-Registered with the ARB and Chartered by the RIBA.
-Experience in UK developments with a sound understanding of Building Regulations.
-Background in detailing complex buildings and generating comprehensive working drawing packages.
-Proven ability in managing client expectations and overseeing projects through all RIBA stages.
-Knowledgeable about HTMs, HBNs, Building Bulletins, and DfE Output Specification.
-Skilled in software, including Revit, ideally in AutoCAD, NBS Corus, BIM360, Sketchup and Photoshop.
-Valid UK driving licence.
