Our client, a long established and highly regarded Partner firm, is looking to source credible and enthusiastic Senior Auditor to join its dynamic team. The successful individual will work with a range of clients covering various industries and get the opportunity to build effective relationships, promoting the business and the high level of service that's on offer.
Key duties include:
Reporting to the Audit Manager and leading the audits in their absence
Preparation of audit plan and identify any risks
Draft and review financial statements
Preparation of accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
Supervise Trainee Accountants
Draft recommendations to management post audit
Client development and project work
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with an impressive academic background. You will be highly inquisitive and have strong technical knowledge, as well as have strong examples to date where you have used your initiative and proactive approach to achieve goals and perform to a high standard.
From an interpersonal perspective, you will consider yourself to be confident, articulate and able to build strong, sustainable relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You must work well on your own initiative but equally as strong in a team, showing strong time management and organisational skills.
