Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Data (HYBRID) - £60,000 p/a

A Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in AWS is being sought by a large financial services company in Coventry to help lead on a number of greenfield projects in the Data space.

A key responsibility of this role is to look for improvement opportunities within the data team and its processes/procedures on a continuous basis. You will have a strong background in implementing and supporting new infrastructure within medium-large enterprises and have a proven background of delivering projects in the data space.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience of building infrastructure as a code in Terraform and Powershell on AWS.

You'll have solid experience of core AWS Cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, ELB's, Auto scaling, Lambda, RDS, VPC's, Security Groups, IAM, Cloud Formation.

Experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer in a data heavy project / environment with experience of one of the following three:

• Previous experience of having built an AWS Data Lake
• Overseen an ODS migration to redshift clusters
• Experience of AI / ML projects

A track record of having of supporting virtualization technologies (or equivalent), scripting/automation skills, particularly Terraform, PowerShell, BASH. Ansible Tower.
