This role will sit within our Global HR Operations and Total Rewards Centre of Excellence. We are experiencing organisational growth expanding into new locations which requires a need for enhancing our global expertise and collaborative team to enable us to continue to develop and mature as a specialised team and trusted advisor to the organisation.

As our Senior Benefits Analyst:
* You will own the day-to-day management of Markel's International Benefits programmes. As well as insured risk benefits, pensions and medical this will also incorporate our wider wellbeing, global mobility and recognition programmes, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
* A key focus of the role will be in managing and improving the overall employee experience in relation to benefits communications. You will review, update, and/or coordinate the distribution of benefit communication materials using a variety of media, to include the digital benefits portal, legally required notices, summary plan descriptions, benefit guides, and employee presentations to ensure participants receive correct information and an excellent employee experience.
* Lead and support projects related to global benefit initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful and insightful solutions for the organisation.
* Be a key contact for business leaders and managers across our international locations using your expertise to address and manage regional benefits queries and escalations. * Management of external vendors and consultants to ensure delivery of high-quality benefit programmes.
* Manage/enhance wellbeing programmes and campaigns working in collaboration with business and Global Wellbeing Network.
* Recommend, optimise and implement process improvements.
* Manage benefits benchmarking, survey completion and submission, data collection and analysis to evaluate and recommend global benefit programmes where appropriate.

* A passion for excellent employee experience, continuous process improvement.
* Proven experience in managing benefits in a global organisation, particularly European and APAC benefits.
* Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering on projects in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
* Collaborative and supportive working style, with an ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic work environment, adapting quickly to change.
* Excellent understanding of benefits compliance, regulations, and market trends across European and APAC regions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* Previous experience in managing global mobility programmes, especially benefits aspects of these programmes.
* Proven ability in planning and communicating employee benefits campaigns to engage and enhance employee experience across international markets. The successful candidate will:
* Demonstrate their specialist knowledge of international benefits to become a trusted expert across our locations.
* Support the continued development of our global benefits strategy and new global recognition portal.
Focus on optimisation of processes to create bandwidth and capacity for the team.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
