Senior Bid Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our team at Mountsorrel in Leicestershire on a fixed term contract for 12 months with a start date of 1st July 2024. This role will offer hybrid working.

Main ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior Bid Manager you will be responsible for:

Contributing to the target performance of the Contracting Business through the production of Client-facing documents such as Quality Submissions, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Capability Statements and Case studies either individually or as the leader of a small team
Liaising with regional operational offices to fully understand Client expectations and develop documentation that meets them
Managing, mentoring and supporting direct reports
Working collaboratively with CSD management team to deliver outputs
Supporting the Head of Commercial Services to set strategy for the department.
Deputising for the Head of Commercial Services as and when required

The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Senior Bid Manager will have experience of:

Extensive experience of working in a work winning (bid) related role or project management role
Experience of managing line reports
Delivering and driving strategy
Highly analytical
Leadership skills, the ability to communicate a vision and motivate a team of employees
Proven expertise in developing work winning strategies
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships through collaboration
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and self driven 
Demonstrates ownership of work and leadership of team members
Clear and transparent communicator
