Senior Bid Writer

Location: Head Office Bathgate, EH48 2EE - Home Based
Salary: £50-60K, DOE + 10% Car Allowance & Discretionary Bonus
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join our team.

Senior Bid Writer - The Role:

As a Senior Writer you will be working on every element of the bid-writing process, we require someone with the ability to produce and compile bespoke high quality PQQ and tender submissions that meet customers’ needs and aspirations and who can demonstrate strong project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for submissions, PQQs and tenders. Responsibilities include project management of the bid process, agreeing strategy with the sector teams, ensuring adequate resources are allocated to complete the submission - managing those resources throughout the process, organizing site visits as required to support bid/tender, ensuring all content is in place, and ensuring the quality of the final output.
• Creation of high-quality PQQ and bid documents, including writing and editing content (text and graphics) and document production
• Co-ordination of bid information in conjunction with the Bid Writers and supporting senior managers
• Ability to develop product awareness and understand customer applications and development.
• Ability to create original, and where required bespoke material to assist senior management tea, introduce new products and services to the market and our client base

Senior Bid Writer - Qualifications and Experience:

We’re looking for someone who has excellent knowledge and experience of buildings with a key eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Additionally, as our asset management solution is an innovative IT tool, you must be computer literate.

What will you bring as a Senior Bid Writer

• Degree level in relevant subject or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
• Detailed knowledge and experience of bid writing
• Construction and/or bid background desirable
• Knowledge of construction/maintenance/building environment and relevant sectors
• APMP member desirable
• You will need the right to work in the UK.
• Exemplary written English/writing style
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Management and team-working skills
• Creativity
• A UK driving licence is preferred.
