Senior Bookkeeper

Are you a Senior Bookkeeper or Management Accountant with no more than a months notice period, looking to work locally in Perivale in a newly created position due to growth? Are you keen to work for a growing, entrepreneurial retail business where you can utilise your experience of Sage? Based in a small finance team and reporting to the Head of Finance, your role will be hands on and varied. Responsibilities will include: Keeping track of all payments and invoices, preparing sales invoices, sales ledger reconciliations, processing any customer refunds, credit control, processing and entering purchase invoices onto the system, prepare supplier BACS payments, reconcile the purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, processing subcontractor payments, van rental invoices, plus other ad hoc duties and reports as required.

To be considered for this newly created role (February 2024) you must live within commuting distance of Perivale and be either immediately available or have no more than a month notice period. You must have at least 5 years experience (or more) in a Senior Bookkeeper based role. You must also have experience of using Sageline 50. Experience of working in a hands on role, in a small finance team is also important. You must be self motivated, have a good eye for detail and be a team player. You must also be ready for a role with high levels of responsibility and future progression on offer.
