SalarySenior Bookkeeper
A growing property management group operating in both the commercial and residential sectors is currently seeking to employ an In-House Bookkeeper to join their office in North London. Ideally you will be AAT qualified, but my client will consider someone who is qualified by experience.
You will be based in beautiful offices with excellent transport links on the mainline to Liverpool Street via Tottenham Hale/Seven Sisters and also close to the Victoria Line.

The role:
Reporting into the Directors themselves the role will entail the following:
- Raise invoices to all tenants
- Deal with any invoice queries
- Chase outstanding payments on a regular basis
- Issue Purchase orders
- Review and post purchase invoices received from suppliers/contractors
- Raise payments to suppliers
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Produce & Submit VAT payments & returns
- Ensure compliance with all statutory payments
- Work with external accountants on Tax returns
- Submit company statements
- Maintaining an organised filing system
- Quarterly reporting to Directors (debtors, creditors)
- Working with other staff members to ensure all financial needs are met
Key requirements
- Previous bookkeeping experience
- Experience of Xero accounting system an advantage
- Ability to set up Chart of Accounts in Xero an advantage
- Experience of working in a multi-company environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
