SalaryWE Talent are currently working with a leading Accountancy Practice in Colchester, that are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.
This position would suit a career driven accounts professional that can utilise their experience and progress long term.

The duties include:
- Preparation of year-end financial statements
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statement to assist clients in business decisions
- Processing invoices, payments, income and receipts into accounting software and databases ensuring that supporting documents are retained
- Liaising with clients and explaining complex financial matters
- Reconciliation across all control accounts
- Producing and posting of opening balance adjustments
- Working to complete clients VAT returns on time
- Calculating Flat Rate, Partial Exemption. Global Accounting Scheme and Group VAT returns
Experience needed:
- Previous Bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience using Xero, Quickbooks or Free Agent is desirable
- High attention to detail
- An excellent communicator both written and verbal
