Senior Building Control Surveyor/Safety Advisor

FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a Senior Building Control Surveyor/Safety Advisor for a construction business.   This is a permanent position based in or around Bristol or within the region.  Salary is depending on experience from £45,000 to £65,000 negotiable by experience plus car allowance, bonus structure, healthcare and wellbeing package.  Working across a range of organisations from commercial and residential diverse projects, including high risk buildings.  You will be working closely with construction teams, Architects, Engineers, and Property Managers ensuring building design, construction, and maintenance meet required safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Take forward Building Safety Advisory Services, complying with latest regulations.
• Able to expand services into Fire Engineering design and overseeing growth and development for Fire Engineering safety services
• Working closely with the design team on building design ensure high safety standards are adhered to.
• Provide technical expertise

Skills and Experience required for the Senior Building Control Surveyor/Safety Advisor role:-

• Degree qualified in a relevant building/construction related discipline
• Track record in Building Control
• Hold either MCABE/MRICS/MCIOB.
• Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act
• Fire Engineering qualification
