Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst with a passion for technology and a wide understanding of IT systems and processes required to join a retail brand based in South London on a hybrid basis, who are embarking on a large digital transformation.

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be working in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to enhance complex systems and processes and actively participate in all project phases from discovery to BAU.

This role is ideal for someone with a natural flair for collaboration and a desire to transform the way technology enables the business functions within a dynamic organisation.

Day to day of the role:

• Conduct thorough business analysis for critical IT projects, including defining and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements, and re-engineering business processes (As Is and To Be).
• Support the production of early business cases, including assessments of business, technical, and financial feasibility.
• Maintain traceability of requirements through to end-user testing.
• Assist in defining test plans, testing strategies, and the creation of test cases; conduct end-user testing where necessary.
• Aid stakeholders in defining rollout, communication, training, and user support plans to effectively implement IT changes.
• Create and review user manuals, procedures, and related documentation.
• Provide input for third-party selection processes and review contracts to ensure business needs are met.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews to incorporate learnings into future projects.
• Occasionally manage small IT change projects, adhering to standard project management methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of the Business Analyst team’s skills and culture, striving to improve standards and adopt new processes and systems.

What we need from you:

• 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in large scale business transformation projects, particularly in the retail sector.
• A genuine interest in technology and digital transformation.
• A proven track record in delivering initiatives, improvements, and efficiencies.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills.
• Ability and flexibility to adapt to work on large complex projects and smaller projects simultaneously that span across multiple business areas.
