We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.
The role holder will work in Risk and Compliance in the IRR Risk Stewardship & Assurance programme team which is responsible leading & directing the Risk Stewardship & Assurance programme to deliver the programme outcomes within the agreed timelines.
The IRR Programme has defined as an outcome the enablement of a “Optimised risk management, monitoring and assurance of the control environment in order govern delivery of the design principles and outcomes”, with a specific objective to deliver an “Uplift in assurance approach to provide timely and transparent insights into the control environment for Financial and Regulatory Reporting Risk”.
In this role you will be:
• Accountable for the design documentation relating to the management of IRR within HSBC
• Accountable for working with a large range of stakeholders across the bank; RS, Assurance, Control Officers, CRO’s and working with Financial and Non-Financial Risk Areas to resolve queries relating to design and establishing governance to support the effective management of Regulatory Reporting Risk in HSBCs second line of defence.
• Supporting the Programme and Senior Management in Governance and in their engagement with Regulators and the S166 Skilled Persons, leading the response to questions on progress and thematic findings from the implementation work you will be involved with on the Programme.
