We are working with an established consulting, business intelligence and research services business with a focus on sustainable innovation to help them build out their London sales team. We are looking to connect with high performing sales professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset. Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will work towards monthly and quarterly revenue targets, finding and closing new business.
What will you be responsible for?
- Find and close new business and creatively build your network for new prospects through social media, email and sales tools.
- Prospect and close appropriate new business prospects in your region
- Maintain the minimum weekly/daily prospecting metrics to ensure on target revenue results
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts
- Solid understanding of product and service offerings
- Build and execute targeted prospecting campaigns
- Work closely with the research and consulting teams to deliver client focused solutions
- Build compelling proposal documents in PowerPoint
- Accurately report and manage your own data through the CRM.
What experience and knowledge will you need to thrive in this role?
- Confident building a transparent sales prospecting process that can be replicated for success.
- 5+ years experience selling in a similar role
- Demonstrated record of successfully selling intangible services (consulting, research, services)
- Experience in value-based selling to executives
- The ability and willingness to generate own leads in addition to Marketing generated leads
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of the environmental / sustainability sector advantageous
- Self-motivated, proactive and solution driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of international business and cultural nuances
