SalaryCastlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Senior Buyer to join a large Public Sector organisation in Salisbury. The role will be a temporary 8 month contract and offers hybrid working opportunities.
The Role:
- End to end tendering processes above and below threshold
- Lead a rang of procurement projects covering different category areas
- Lead on the delivery of contract compliance and savings of allocated procurement projects.
- Establish a strategic category management approach to procuring maintenance and capital requirements to deliver benefits across the organisation
The Person:
- Strong knowledge of Public Sector regulations
- CIPS qualified
- Analytical competence in carrying out complex procurement for high value contracts using appropriate evaluation methods to achieve the best supply solution
