- Developing and implementing Strategic Sourcing plans
- Managing supplier relationships and long lead times
- Analysing and understanding market trends
- Ensuring Supply Chain efficiency
- Working collaboratively with the procurement and Supply Chain team
- Driving cost reduction initiatives
- Maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts in the Supply Chain process
Profile
The successful Strategic Sourcing Specialist should have:
- Previously worked in Strategic Sourcing or procurement position within the industrial/manufacturing industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
- Strong IT skills
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
