We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an OTC Senior Buyer to join our market-leading pharmaceutical company on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. Reporting directly to the OTC Trading Manager, you will be responsible for taking the lead for particular categories and how that links to our retail strategy for the future. Responsibilities
- Take the lead in managing specific categories within the OTC portfolio
- Develop and implement strategic plans to align with our retail strategy
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure optimal product selection and pricing
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to drive informed decision-making
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to maximize profitability
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior buying role within the pharmaceutical or OTC industry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrated strategic thinking in aligning category management with overall business goals
