Duties
- Working closely with designers to deliver a beautiful end project
- Familiar with and operated mortice, spindle moulder, planers, thicknesser, tenoner, panel saw, edge bander, band saw, and hand tools and a variation of finishing tools, and has experience working on bespoke woodwork projects
- Monitoring project progress
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Day to day problem-solving and dealing with any issues that arise
Requirements
- City and Guilds Advanced Craft or Level 2 NVQ and above in Joiner (preferred)
- Experience and knowledge of manufacturing bespoke products such as kitchens and furniture
- Experience of working with hardwood, softwood, plywood, veneered boards, veneers, laminates and solid surfaces
- Ability to work from drawings
- Ability to work to high standards, managing time and resources effectively
- Attention to detail is required
- Experience of fitting preferred
