Salary A client of ours is looking for a student actuary to join their Capital team in London to focus on the planning and strategy surrounding their internal capital process. The role reports into the Capital Manager but will have significant exposure to the wider actuarial team, underwriters, catastrophe modellers, finance team and stakeholders at all levels internally. The day-to-day work for this role is project based so will cover a large range of work including business, risk and capital planning, model development and testing, and regulatory returns within insurance and reinsurance.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of industry experience, be making some progress with the actuarial exams, be a confident communicator, have good working knowledge of a capital modelling software (preferably Tyche) and SQL. Those from a Lloyd's environment and with an understanding of reinsurance would be highly suitable for this role.
This role is looking to pay up to £60k and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week.
