We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Senior Capital Project Manager to join our team in Haringey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the delivery of major Capital Projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring milestones are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and policies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, updates, and proposals to senior management and council members.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to project delivery.
• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within project teams.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in project management, particularly in delivering large-scale Capital Projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Relevant qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) and a degree in a related field.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large project budgets.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Knowledge of public sector processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
