Rate: £329.93 per day (umbrella)

A London Borough is seeking a dedicated Capital Programme Manager to work on the Capital Programme. This is an interim role to deliver the Major Projects Programme within the Capital Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead an overarching review of the Capital Programme.
- Design and implement a consistent delivery and programme management framework.
- Collaborate closely with the Strategy and Finance team, alongside service leads, to conduct a comprehensive review of the entire Capital Programme. Ensure each project aligns with the Council Plan priorities and other pertinent Council strategies, especially those related to the Council's place-shaping goals.

Essential Criteria:

- Proven experience in delivering non-residential major projects within the public sector, preferably within a Council or Local Authority.
- Comprehensive knowledge of programme and project management methodologies.
- Possession of a relevant project/programme management qualification.
- Demonstrable evidence of continuous professional development pertinent to the role.
- Wide-ranging understanding of capital projects and the intricacies of public service delivery.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with line management responsibilities and should bring a wealth of expertise to oversee projects such as significant refurbishments and renovations of schools and other essential buildings.
