Hall Grange Care Home are currently recruiting Night Shift Senior Care Assistants.

Job Type: Permanent | Basis: Full Time | 33 Hours per Week

About the Role

In your role as a Senior Care Assistant at MHA, you will have the responsibility of guiding and motivating a dedicated team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents, ensuring they can enjoy a fulfilling later life. Your duties will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including assisting residents with personal care requirements and facilitating their participation in various activities that promote their overall well-being.

Moreover, you will be entrusted with administering medication and maintaining meticulous and precise records. Each day will present new challenges, allowing you to utilize your leadership abilities and interpersonal skills to truly make a positive impact.

About You

As a Senior Care Assistant, it is essential that you possess a genuine passion for providing care to older individuals. Along with previous experience in the field of care, you must hold at least an NVQ level 2 or its equivalent in health and social care. Furthermore, you should be willing to pursue a level 3 qualification. Your role will also involve leading, coaching, and motivating a team to ensure the delivery of top-notch care.

In addition to the required qualifications, you should possess a kind, warm, and caring nature. Collaborating effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative is crucial. Patience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to actively listen are equally important attributes.

Hall Grange - Residential Care Home

Hall Grange, nestled in picturesque surroundings and conveniently positioned a mere three miles east of Croydon town centre in Shirley, provides exceptional residential and dementia care for a maximum of 86 elderly individuals. Renowned for our outstanding local standing, we actively engage relatives and volunteers in various activities and events, valuing their input and personal interests when making decisions.

Our commitment to fostering a sense of community extends beyond our premises, as we organize daily activities that involve the wider community, including baby and toddler group sessions that serve as a source of stimulation for residents living with dementia.
