SalarySenior Care Service Manager
Location: Leatherhead
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £32k plus £25 per out of hour shift payment
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a manager to join a brilliant home care provider in Leatherhead. We are looking for a forward thinking and experienced, dynamic Senior Service Managers who will be involved in growing the team. The branch has an excellent local reputation and they have a Good CQC rating across the board with their sights set on Outstanding further down the line.
What skills and experience will you possess?
• Wiliness to undertake NVQ Level 3 and/or Level 5 in Health and Social Care within three months. Funded by the organisation
• Knowledge of CQC
• You will be a strong people manager
• The ability to ensure that your staff team feel valued
• Confident delivering high standards of care in the community
• Have the ability to manage other members of your management team
• Previous experience regarding Learning Disabilities, Autism and Dementia strategies.
• Previous management experience in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience of writing and auditing risk assessments and care plans.
• Drive with access to your own vehicle
Job Role:
• Oversee a staff team
• Ensure CQC compliance and standards are met
• Ensure the provision of appropriate levels of assistance at all times for all service users
• Ensure up-to-date and accurate records are kept on residents and service users
• Manage recruitment, training and induction for new starters
• Ensure performance in the areas of hour’s growth, profitability, people-management and quality
• To ensure that all care is assessed, planned, allocated, delivered and evaluated in line with procedures
