Senior Chassis Design Engineers are required to join our client’s Design & Engineering Centre for a specialist vehicle manufacturer.

Our client is a world-renowned organisation who specialise in product and system innovation for the automotive arena, seeking to recruit a Contract Senior Chassis Design Engineer. You will support the development of niche EV’s across several vehicle platforms. You will be based at their Innovation Centre in the Warwick area that focus on delivering solutions across all areas of transportation, especially within future technology.

As Senior Chassis Design Engineer – you will be required to

• Design of all components with Chassis Systems; including suspension, springs, dampers, brakes, callipers, uprights, steering racks, wishbones, track rods, steering arms etc.  
• Work alongside Chassis team in UK and liaise with international team within the business for Chassis Systems  
• Initiate and conduct meetings with technical suppliers, third party suppliers, and others as may be required 
• Provide input data to CAE and other Engineering activities 
• Liaise with styling to support feasible design solutions

As Senior Chassis Design Engineer - you will have

• Degree qualified engineer or equivalent with proven experience in chassis component/system design
• Excellent CAD skills working with CATIA
• Capable of carrying out hand calculations for components and correct material choices
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing to team in UK & overseas
