Senior C&I Engineer - Staff - London

Role & Responsibilities
Checking the quality of engineering contractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications. Develop the scope of work / basis of design for studies and projects. Undertake and checking of C&I calculations and specifications. Support the design, configuration, implementation and testing of SCADA systems. Responsible for engineering design and assessment in line with client expectations as well as supporting others within the team. Working within a multidisciplinary team with engineers to ensure ongoing benchmarking of overall project requirements. Checking the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications. Will be required to provide input into HAZOP / HAZIDs. Fault analysis and reliability assessments; FMEA, FTA, HAZID and HAZOPs.
Key Skills & Knowledge
Must be degree qualified, chartered status desired but not essential. Experience of designing C&I equipment, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, or Renewable Energy industries - downstream / refinery projects of particular interest. Will ideally have experience working in a client side role. Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.
