HFG are currently recruiting on behalf of a top Lloyd's MGA who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their team, focusing specifically on Mesothelioma Cancer Claims.

Key Responsibilities:
* Update the file containing claims information by accurately capturing and updating data while following best practices that uphold the highest level of technical complexity and exposure.
* Utilise judgement to determine liability by gathering and analysing pertinent facts, utilising relevant laws, and establishing fundamental principles of negligence and breach of duty.
* Comfortably handle a significant amount of high-value claims, confidently making and supporting independent decisions with minimal guidance or direction.
* Exercise judgement to determine policy verification and coverage determination by analysing applicable coverage for claims and determining if the loss falls under the policy's coverage.
* Ensure timely resolution of claims by developing a case strategy, conducting a case evaluation, and escalating issues as necessary.
* Set timely reserves and perform ongoing reviews throughout the claims cycle within your authority limits by estimating and validating the value of claims.
* Assess damages by calculating applicable damages or the allowable range of damages according to the law.
* Negotiate the settlement of a claim by establishing an appropriate negotiation strategy and utilising available tools and resources within your authority limits or by referring to the proper channels for claims beyond your authority.
* Focus on customer service by proactively communicating information and responding to inquiries in accordance with customer service protocols.
