This post would be particularly beneficial for those doctors wishing to gain additional experience in obstetrics and gynaecology in a supportive environment and develop an area of interest and expertise. Our department has a good track record for supporting Clinical Fellows to senior registrar tiers and competing CESR documentation. This post will provide the opportunity for the post holder to access specialist clinical sessions appropriate to their development needs and participate in clinical work at ST3-5. Please see RCOG Training matrix to review expected competencies already achieved for ST1-2 level, and competencies to be developed at ST3-5 level. The post holders will be required to contribute to a 48 hour EWTD full shift rota. The remainder of the job plan each week will consist of general middle grade duties on Labour Ward, in clinics and theatres; allowing the successful candidates to maintain their skills in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
