About us The UCL Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is the largest training course for Clinical Psychologists in the country. The core purpose of the course is to train NHS Clinical Psychologists who are compassionate and culturally humble reflective scientist-practitioners able to engage with multiple perspectives. About the role We are seeking to appoint two 0.5 FTE Clinical Psychologists to work as Senior Clinical Tutors. As far as possible, the postholders are also expected to maintain a clinical role within the NHS or a similar organisation. The postholders will be committed to developing and promoting the profession of Clinical Psychology within the NHS. The successful applicants will be based within the Clinical Tutor Team. Clinical Tutors’ main remit, within the structure provided by UCL DClinPsy Course Regulations and HCPC and BPS accreditation criteria, is to support and manage the substantial clinical practice component of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Course. In addition, the Clinical Tutor Team, of which the postholder will be a member, makes a major contribution to the academic programme and a significant contribution to research supervision. About you We are interested in applicants with clinical experience and expertise in working with any client group, but for one of the two posts we are ideally looking to recruit an applicant with experience of working in health. The salary range will be £51,474-£60,521 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance, plus market supplement (£11,532) pro rata.
