Senior Commercial Estimator
Remote working with travel to Europe and the Middle East

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Client, a global provider of integrated services and rapid response solutions in this newly created role.
As Senior Commercial Estimator you would join their pre-sales team in preparing cost/price estimates associated with Total Facilities Management (Hard FM/Soft FM).
The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of estimation template development.
You will be working in a multi-disciplined proposal team comprising of technical, commercial, and operational SME’s across a wide range of proposals on a global scale to clients in government, defence, mining, oil and gas as well as humanitarian and non-governmental organisations.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluating and analyzing proposal documents.
• Reviewing proposal documents and preparing calculation template.
• Assess material, equipmen, and labor input from external stakeholders.
• Liaising with technical, commercial, and operational disciplines (Internal/External)
• Preparing reports, analyses, budgets, risk assessment, cash flow and P&L’s for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Advising operations on improvements and new strategies.
• Ensuring optimum commercial return is achieved for each project.
• Preparing structure of the costing template as per the Work Breakdown Structures.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for all phases of projects/opportunities.
• Having leadership skills necessary to direct and manage the project team having responsibility, under minimum supervision.
Requirements for the role:
• MS Excel (advanced), MS Office 365 (proficient).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role/field of work.
• Proficient in English (verbal, written and reading)
• Strong knowledge and experience in industry benchmarks / best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Understanding and knowledge of industry benchmarks / best practices and methods of measurements.
• Technical ability to discuss collaboratively with subject matter experts in set solutions.
• Effectively work on multiple projects at a time.
• Aware of data confidentiality
• Problem solving, and highly adaptable.
• Willingness to learn
